Kayla Barkley came to speak to the Activity Day girls in our Stake. She talked about how girls at their age can make a difference in the life of others, and also modesty. She is an excellent example of modesty and beauty. She wore a one peice swim suit in the miss usa pageant this year, which wasn't a popular choice. She brought all her dresses for the girls to see, and also let the girls try on her crown. Lindsay was jaw dropped the whole time. She thought Kayla was such a beautiful princess. This is not a great picture, but this is Lindsay and her friend Kaylee having some one on one time with Miss Utah. Who by the way is from Manti.

That is so neat. Someone actually standing up for thier morals. I love stories like that.
Awesome! I remember Miss Utah '94 coming to talk to us in Young Women. She was also President Hinckley's granddaughter, which was pretty awesome. That's way cool she let the girls try on her crown. She seems sweet.
Very sweet, and fun that she's from Manti too.
No luck on the summer getaway yet?? I'm getting nervous. Call me when you can.
