Yesterday I had a unique and wonderful time. For an early birthday gift Jamie arranged for me to spend the day alone. I went and got my hair done, went shopping, the Dane took me out in the evening. Jamie spent the day with 6 young children. I'm very appreciative. I know that wasn't easy. Dane and I had such a fun date. We went to my favorite restaurant Macaroni Grill. There was a 50 minute wait. While we waited we went to REI to test ride some bikes. I fell in love with a beach cruiser style "Electra" baby blue bike. It has white walled tires and is Sooooo comfortable to ride. It was a perfect birthday present for me. I actually feel really excited about it. I just need a baby trailer so I can ride it whenever I want. After dinner we went to the best date movie ever. I encourage everyone to go see "Dan in real Life" I haven't laughed that hard in a movie since Dumb and Dumber. Even thought the two movies aren't comparable. There was times where the rest of the theatre was done laughing and Dane and I couldn't stop. It was a clean, feel good, funny movie. Even my Dane liked it, which is rare that he likes any movie in the theatre that isn't action packed. So thank you Jamie for a fabulous, rejuvenating birthday gift. And THANK YOU Dane for a beautiful bike and being such a fun date!

yes i did win $100 and a bike for writing a life cereal commercial when I was around 10. one of my proudest moments. that was second place.
