Granny has been staying with us since Thanksgiving. It has been such a blessing, and so much fun. She is a joy to have around. Her perspective on life is truly amazing. She has endured many hardships that have made her tough as nails, yet sweet as honey. She is such a loving example. She really does care about people, and their circumstances. The kids love having her around. She is always available for a cuddle, or a treat. For Lindsay that has been a dream come true. Lindsay is my girl who could never get enough affection, and attention. Granny is able to fill in the gaps that Mom just isn't capable of. It took Luke a little time, but he has welcomed Granny as part of the family. He lets her put him to sleep, and Granny has tolerated sleeping in Luke's bedroom during her stay. Unfortunately it has been through some of the roughest nights of his life. He got all his molars while she has been here, been sick almost the whole time. Thank goodness for her earphones she puts in at night. She has had to turn the volume up loud some nights. We have loved eating her yummy meals, and always having a full drawer of clean clothes. We all look a little more pressed when Granny is around. You are a joy, and we love you. Come back soon.

I was actually going to say something to you the other day about how fun it would be to have a Granny post! What a sweet and giving woman. Its fun to have her around!

How fun to have such a long visit! Meredith loves being around her grandparents...I wish they lived closer! Can't believe Luke is 15 months already! Meredith just turned 2! They all are growing up way too fast!!
I love Aunty Helen too! She is the greatest. We always love when she comes to stay with us too. She has a way of making everyone around her feel important and loved.
