Mapleton homestead!

This is the home I lived in from age 14-23 on and off. We all loved this old house on 5 acres. Mom and Dad put so much work into it and made it a very nice place. We used the barns for chickens, horses, goats, and a pig or cow here and there. You can see the hamock and swingset in the yard. Dane and I had our wedding reception on the east side of the house. I remember the beautiful bridal wreath flowers were blooming. The house was surrounded in cherry trees that we would make ourselves sick from during the summer months.

My dad had someone take them from an airplane maybe 15 years ago.

Some of my favorite teenage memories were at that house. Cooking in the kitchen and singing to the tape player...ice, ice, baby....I am laughing so hard. You were the best friend a person could have had.
