My three sons!

It's a boy!!!!!
I got my ultrasound today. Everything looked normal. Our little guy was just so tightly in the fetal position that she had trouble seeing everything, so I need to go back in a few weeks to finish. I'm looking forward to it though because they have the 4D technology, so I'll be able to see the babies facial features.
Lindsay and Jacob were so excited for me to go to my appointment today. Lindsay asked if they were going to look for eyelashes or not to see if its a boy or girl. Her little mind is so sweet. Were excited for our third son in November!

Some disturbing thoughts of mine about having a boy:
Lindsay no sister
circumcision
potty training
scouts
possible draft or war
Mission in scary place (good also, just fear)
not understanding how their brains work especially during puberty

Some exciting thoughts about having a boy:
I love watching my boys play and their imaginations
not so complicated emotionally
3 boys together can support each-other
Dane gets a lot of help in his old age in the yard etc.
Boys adore their mothers
I can turn them over to Dane when they turn 12!
I can really bond with Lindsay and focus on the needs of one girl.

Just a few thoughts I had today. I do feel like I'm being given a gift, and I''m getting excited.

wow Beth, another boy?? That is so exciting. My little sister Lizzy is expecting her third boy and has one girl also. I feel like I know a lot of people with this scenerio. So will you be done after this or try for another boy? You guys are in Utah? Where exactly? I could come see you! Except my life is crazy. You could come see me! ha ha I've updated my blog recently too, go read about what we have in store for our move to OK! ha ha

Congrats! There must be something going on - it seems like everyone I know who is having a baby this year is having a boy (except my sister-in-law).

It's all a little crazy, but I'm excited for you to be able to mentally plan now! I can't believe it still. Wow! Another little toe-head Thurston running around. Will this one look like Dane or Beth? You have one of each!

Congrats on your boy! It is funny because you come from a family with so many girls. I hope Lindsay wasn't too dissapointed. I love how she wanted to look for eyelashes. We are excited for you guys!
