Luke is so close to walking. Tonight he took 3 steps in-between Dane and I. He is proud of himself, but has no desire to walk without all the praise and applaud. I know I shouldn't get anxious but he has been crawling forever. I'm tired of him crawling in the dirt with his hands, legs, knees getting all dirty. Maybe when he is upright he won't be our little vacuum cleaner either. It is scary the things i pull out of that kids mouth. He is so very cute and fun. I think he said Lindsay yesterday. When she walked in the room he got a big smile and said something that sounded like "thissss" . I can't wait till he says the kids names.
Today it was only 112 degrees heat index. I think it was like 104, but the humidity was high. We all had rosy cheeks today as we ran around. So we are so hot from coming back from Cheerleading class, and I walk in my house and it seems very quiet, and a little stuffy. Soon we notice the electricity is off. I feel panicked that it will reach 100 degrees in my house. I mentally prepared for the worst. I was imagining putting the kids to bed with cold washcloths on their forehead, but luckily it flipped back on around 7:00 p.m. It had only gotten to 84 degrees in here. HOT ENOUGH! Only a few more weeks of this right! At least I'm not pregnant!!!

are you sure you're not pregnant?
my life would have flashed before my eyes if my power was out in this heat.
i feel the same about the babies walking....even though i haven't had a crawler quite as long as you.
