What I love, what I miss

what I love about living in Utah
Love living closer to my family (this one is huge for all of us!)
love living closer to Dane's mom ( what an amazing blessing this is!)
love this old house with so much history
love living by the temple
love this small town with many good people
love how the summers are cooler and it cools off everynight with a sweet smelling mountain breeze
love living close to beautiful mountains and lakes
love that on sunday's I listen to church music on the radio all day starting with my alarm going off.

What I miss about California
I miss my friends soooooooo much.
I miss my kids friends soooooooo much.
I miss my house on 16th. I'll always love that house.
I miss the selma ward so much I can't think about it on Sundays or I burst into tears.
I miss the neat and tidy fenced in schools.
I miss my tropical plants that would grow in my flower bed.

These are just off the top of my head. The list could go on in each catagory. I think I'm just going through different stages of adjustment all the time.

I didn't even see this yet. The hard part is, you could list a million little reasons why you love Manti. And maybe just a few of why you miss the good ol' Central Valley....but the reasons, although fewer in number, are bigger and more intense type reasons, ya know?

Life is not the same without you here.

it is so hard to move. I have never moved but my best friend did. She used to live across the street. It has been a rough two years here without her. She is only in Roosevelt so we do still see each other every once in a while. still miss her though.

I feel your pain! You were very established in CA plus your kids had great friends so I'm sure that makes it all the more difficult. I'm sure your list will change a bit this time next year. I think it just takes time??

It just takes time to put down roots(hate that part). We are liking Utah but miss Texas terribly. It's nice to know that I'm not totally crazy!!

We miss you, too, Beth. Your house is still cute. They are taking good care of it. David sits next to a little boy named Jacob. Ironic. Lindsay is still Andy's "girlfriend". When the subject comes up, he says his girlfriend moved to Utah. Funny. We're thinking about you guys all the time!
