Lexi at workThis Saturday our friends Jamie and Tucker invited us to Pismo beach. It is about a 2 1/2 hour drive to the beach. Doable just for the day. Once we got to Pismo we also met up with some other friends, Rich, Kandalynn, Ashlyn, Tanner, and Haley. The kids had a blast playing in the sand together and putting their feet in the waves. It was a nice break from our 100 degree weather. After the beach we ate at Splash Cafe. Everyone goes there for their famous clam chowder. Fun day in the sun.

Well, then I guess you probably met our birth mom's younger sister, Brianne! Their mom is Richard's older sister! Small world, eh? And by the way, I think it is entirely unfair to mention Splash Cafe to people who can't get their clam chowder fix!! I LOVE that place! Looks like a great day at the beach!
