Luke 9 1/2 months

I thought I would document Luke's developments the last couple of weeks. His biggest one is that he has a few words that he uses often. His first word was Da Da. At first it just meant anything exciting, now when he sees Dane he says it. His second word was num! This is appropriate because he loves food so much. He increases the volume the more he likes it. I gave him some chocolate the other day, and he said "num" in a loud growly voice. It was so cute. His third and most used word is Momma. He says it while he crawls around looking for me, or when he wants me to get him out of his crib. It amazes me every-time my children start to talk. They are just so smart. I wonder what word will be next. Jacob can't wait for him to say his name. Oh and he also says ba, ba. But I'm not sure of it's meaning. LUke also is starting to wave goodbye. He has been crawling since 6 1/2 months, pulling himself up at 7 months, and standing for a few seconds at a time at 9 months. He has 6 teeth. This month he also got his own room. He has been sleeping much better since I trained him to sleep in the crib at night, and not end up in our bed. Last week he did an eleven hour stretch. But usually he wakes for 1 or 2 feedings, which has been normal for my kids at this age. He loved to bite and pull hair. He is getting attached to my hair especially. When I hold him he likes to tangle his hand in my hair. He is such a sweet addition to our family. We all just adore him.

Cutie pie! I can't believe how grown-up he looks.
